1989 Nirvana released their debut album, Bleach.

DEATH On April 8, 1994, Kurt Cobain’s body was found in his Seattle home by an electrician. He is believed to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on April 5, 1994. His suicide note was addressed to his childhood imaginary friend, Boddah.
Cobain was cremated after his death, and his ashes were scattered in various locations. The most notable site is McLane Creek in Olympia, Washington, where a ceremony was held on May 31, 1999, attended by family and friends. Additionally, some of his ashes were kept by his wife, Courtney Love, in a bank vault in Los Angeles.
